Below are the guidelines we have adapted in our day-to-day operation set forth by the U.S. Federal Government, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other health agencies, including:  Using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available.  Keeping the recommended 6 feet from people.  Cleaning frequently touched surfaces.  Wearing mask & gloves in all homes  Only using CDC approved disinfectants & cleaners The CDC says that in order to disinfect a surface, it has to be cleaned FIRST, then disinfectant applied  wiping down light switches, doorknobs, bathroom surfaces, and other commonly touched areas.  clean and sanitize surfaces using products that include certain Environmental Protection Association (EPA) registered disinfecting products and specific cleaning methods, such as mopping with microfiber mops, which have demonstrated a 99% reduction in bacteria.  applying each cleaning product to remove soils first and then leave disinfectants to soak for at least 10 minutes to receive full sanitizing benefits.  Fresh and newly laundered cleaning supplies are always used so germs are not spread from one home to another.  Most importantly, we have initiated a new policy in place to protect our staff and clients by requiring any staff member that is sick or experiencing cold/flu symptoms to stay home.
