Introduction: Hi there! First of all thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit more about 319 Lawn Care and who we are! My name is Shane Glenn and am currently 25 years old and the owner/operator. I started this business from the pure passion, enjoyment & ever changing landscape this profession truly and literally entails! Always doing it part time as class/schedule allowed from just a young kid, I really decided to run with it after earning an Associates Degree at Kirkwood Community College and at that point going full time. 4 years later through developing great relationships in the Cedar Rapids, Marion, Hiawatha area, I have 100’s of satisfied customers! I hired 319 Lawn Care to cut my lawn, based on a quoted price. I was told the price was based on an aerial view of my lot and a software package that can account for the size of the lawn. After my lawn was cut, however, I was told that the estimate was incorrect because the software did not adequately predict the actual size of the lawn and the price would have to increase by 25% over the original quote. Naturally, I was disappointed that the price was going up, But it still was less than other services had quoted. The lawn looks great, so I will continue with the service. Had the price not increased, this would have been a 5 star rating. A word of advice to future customers: Confirm the quoted price BEFORE the work is started to eliminate any late surprises.

Thanks for the feedback Dave- The software used showed the tree line closer (making the actual mowing area larger than expected) so the price per cut was was a little under than what it needed to be. With that said, the price we quoted we stood by for that visit (He was not charged more than the price quoted). The lawn mowing was done at the price quoted, but going ahead (future mowings) we unfortunately needed to raise the price to meet our minimum rates. With no contracts for mowing we gave the customer (Dave) the option to continue at the new rate or cancel service at no charge.
