FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a professional of over 20 years. I have handled just about any type of project under the photography umbrella. My prices have been set based on my training, experience and previous clientele. That being stated, I am also a son, a bettor her, a husband and a father. I understand not everyone has a multi-national marketing budget. If you like my work, and want to engage in a conversation about booking me for a gig, please reach out. I feel that I am as flexible and accommodating as can be with many projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I discuss your wants and needs. I can establish scenes and make photos for hours on end, but if it isn’t what you want, it won’t work for me. Once a brief is established, including timelines for shooting and final delivery, I do everything in my power to make the experience carefree and enjoyable for you. I will scout locations, work with any wardrobe and stylists needed, set up and test any equipment needed to make sure the shoot goes as smoothly as possible. I like to have fun with shoots, and foster an attitude of enjoyment with my clients. Music and snacks are always a staple in my studio, along with monitors displaying raw images as they are captured, giving you a chance to see a rough product and ensure we’re on track to capturing what you desire. For event shoots, I simply get down to business, working with the shot-list created from the brief to capture all the needed shots (and then some). Post-processing comes next. My philosophy is to let the image speak for itself. Unless requested, I take a minimalist approach to editing, letting the natural light and colors come through. I believe a photo that doesn’t appear to be processed after the shot tells the most powerful story. Proofs and contact sheets will be sent out for review before moving to delivery.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being behind the the lens for over 20 years, I have worked and trained with some of the best. I’ve had the honor of shooting events from US Team trials and Olympic qualifiers to NBA, MLB and NFL venues, NCAA Championships and World Championships. I’ve worked with newborns to 99 year olds, capturing personal and family moments, along with shooting for major companies like Adidas and Nike to create lifestyle campaigns. If a magical moment needs to be captured, I’d be honored to record it for you.
