Introduction: My photos are full of life, meaning and bring out the richness in color and personality. Most of my work is done outdoors, so I have a variety of landscapes, and colors. I capture meaning and story through photography. I get to spend time with people, encourage and learn from them. I see photography as a way for me to point out the good things, and share my gratitude. My hope is to spark gratitude in every person I encounter and open their eyes to the goodness in and around them.

Andrew and I feel lucky to have shared such an intimate day of ours with such a beautiful and genuine person. One of the photos Mariah took on our wedding day, is already hanging up on our bedroom wall. A constant reminder of our happy day, it speaks a thousand words! She captured even the most everyday scenes from around our home, Andrew hopping on his motorbike to meet me before the ceremony, with the washing hung up and garden shed in the background. This has become one of my favourites as it's the perfect snapshot of our lives on that day. We cannot recommend Mariah enough, she is an extremely talented photographer, with a wonderful eye for capturing the small things.

My husband and I loved working with Mariah!! Not only is she super talented, shes just a fun person to be around. A number of guests commented on how great of a job she did. We were actually on the fence about hiring a professional photographer so we didn't give her a ton of advance notice but she was very flexible working with our schedule, even finding time to squeeze in an engagement shoot. Her price points are very reasonable for people like us that wanted to stick to their wedding budget. We are having a hard time picking out a few photos to frame because they are all so great! Hire Mariah, you won't regret it!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was living in Australia for three years, and couldn't help but take photos. My love to capture beauty began here, and has been growing ever since.

Friends, family, restaurant industry, social media managers, creative designers, other people (by word of mouth).
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I got to shoot a destination wedding in Wellington, New Zealand. I spent a beautiful week there, shot the rehearsal dinner, and an 11 hour wedding. I reviewed, edited and returned 700 edited, full resolution images to the clients within 4 weeks.
