- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $28. I offer discounted rates for projects that require 4 hours and more, discounts for repeat customers, and referral bonuses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon agreement of the scope of work and materials to be provided, I will give you a quote. I can give you a quote sight-unseen for simple jobs such hanging a curtain rod, assembling furniture, installing a garbage disposal. Working conditions such as ease of access, second floor versus ground floor, height of a fixture or work surface will affect final pricing. For more complex jobs I will give a written quote after seeing and discussing the project plans. For outdoor projects, if HOA approval is required I can draft submittals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience in all facets of residential repair and maintenance. I have a degree in engineering. I have 10 years experience in the electrical industry and carry a copy of the National Electrical Code. I have also worked for Home Depot and know how to source parts and materials.
