FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We earn our commissions from the travel vendors that we use to book for our clients. The Cruise Planners corporate office works with our many travel vendors to negotiate special discounts, onboard credits, and rates that are not available direct to the consumer. It won't cost you anything to give us a try!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide highly personalized service for each of our clients. We take the time to get to know each client's preferences and what they are looking for in their trip - romance, adventure, relaxation, family fun, or education. Through these conversations, we can then find the best fit for as far as flights, hotels, cruise lines, and tours. We can help with multi-stop trips that involve layovers and connecting flights. We can work with a big group of family or friends and coordinate tours, sightseeing, shows, and dinners. We help advise our international travelers on visas and passports. We also offer travel insurance and assistance in case of emergencies while traveling. We build custom itineraries for our clients based on their preferences. Each itinerary is as unique as our clients. In addition to flights and hotels, we are also about to include tours, museum tickets, sporting events, concerts, private transfers to and from airports, as well as rail passes. We can even provide personal recommendations for local restaurants, boutiques, and attractions based on the interests of our clients!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had countless hours of Cruise Planners' specific training as well as training through the many preferred vendors - Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Sandals, Disney, Universal Studios, etc. In addition, I am a Hawaii Destination Specialist. I lived in Honolulu for 7 years, so this personal experience has been a significant asset in helping my clients with their travels to the Hawaiian islands.
