Terri was wonderful! Felt like I knew her all my life. Me, my mother, grandmother and sisters felt very comfortable and had great conversations. I wish I would've got some tips from her, but maybe next time;) Terri thanks for adding positivity and love on my special day. Even in the heat every one makeup stayed in place and still looked flawless. Will definitely book again if needed. Ladies you won't be disappointed!!

Terri did an AMAZING job on my wedding makeup trial - my face was FLAWLESS!! She's a true professional and the BEST at what she does! I have to admit I was pretty bummed when it was finally time for me to wash my face, wish I could stay that way forever! I definitely recommend Terri for all of your makeup needs! Stop looking for anyone else and book Terri! I looked all over on every avenue I could think of for someone who was skilled enough to complete the look I wanted. I wanted to look like me, just an enhanced version and not like I was painted. I booked Terri for two different appointments on the same day. We took engagement photos at sunrise, and again at sunset. I needed my make up done at 5 AM and Terri (who responded right away to my request for quote) arrived at 4:50 AM. This was my first time getting my make up done professionally and I was nervous about what to expect. But she was super professional and traveled with an entire make up set up including a chair and light. We completed the first look and a few hours later (3pm) she again arrived early to work on the second look. Both turned out flawlessly. I’m also not sure what kind of technique she uses but the first look lasted 8 hours without needing any touch ups and we had to hike to get to our destination for our outdoor photos (she’s clearly a magician lol). My mom, sister and everyone else who was there was so impressed with her work we are actually booking her for our engagement party in two weeks. She will be doing my makeup and 3 others in my bridal party. I could actually keep going on about how professional and personable she was but you get the point. So take It from someone who is usually extremely picky, book with Terri she is amazing!

I am so thankful to have found Rachel Rodgers! She did a beautiful job on my mother and I for a wedding! We barely recognized ourselves. She has a great personality and was a joy to work with. We will definitely use her again. If I wasn’t camera shy I’d post a picture, but we looked great!

So let me tell you how AMAZING Rachel Rodgers is. I live in Maryland and I had a party in Charlotte, North Carolina. My friends in Charlotte couldn’t recommend a good make up artist. I decided to go on Thumbtack and look to hire one. I received 6 offers and after careful reviewing I choose Ms. Rachel. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge $100 to come to somebodies home and do make-up. That rate can vary depending on what day and time my services are required.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step is to do an assessment of what the customer is trying to achieve and then I ask questions about skin type and tone. After the assessment, the customer and I agree to the time place.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the make-up business for 10 years, in the early stages I worked for MAC Cosmetics, where I became a certified MAC makeup artist.
