About this pro
I use the K.I.S.S. principle of photography: It works well for me and my clients. With it I under-promise and over deliver, making everyone happy. For me, photography is never about materials or techniques or fancy equipment, but lighting. Once in front of a camera, with the proper lighting, the quality and character of the subject always appears. The camera simply records it. I do not over-light in the studio or on location: I use as much natural light as possible. If natuarl light is unavailable, I light simply and dramatically. I have been blessed to have the skills and creativity to photograph for many wonderful and appreciative clients. For the past 25+ years, photography has been for me a stage on which I have photographed others' performances. I love making beautiful photos that also make others happy. Please see my website to see my client list. There you will see the many others who loved what I did for them.
Customers rated this pro highly for punctuality, work quality, and value.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My prices are determined by the client's needs, usually but limited to the time required to set up lighting. With that in mind, I work within the client's budget to get exactly what they need the first time and to their satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The initial consultation consists of getting a clear understanding of what the client needs (size and number of photos), the budget and when it is needed. I also encourage prospective clients to show me examples of work that they like. This helps us understand the parameters of the work to be done in a way the would best suit the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have three degrees in art/photography and have been a successful professional photographer for 25+ years.
