I was a little taken aback by the fact that the handyman arrived with no ladder (was driving a small car), but luckily I had one in my garage. Then, I had to stop getting ready for an appt I had coming up, to hold the ladder because he came alone. He banged on my gutter pipe with a hammer to unclog it. I don’t know if that’s typical, but I was afraid that he would do more damage with the hammer. Waiting on the next big rain to see if his tactics worked. Some sediment did come out of the drain, which he left right there. No cleanup. A little disappointed but hopefully it worked! Tried to upload a photo but it keeps failing. Update: I was very impressed with the response to my concerns about my experience with the gutter cleaning. I would certainly recommend The Handy Tool Belt to anyone needing assistance and expecting professionalism and concern for the finished product.

We had a disagreement as job was more in-depth than originally quoted. This caused an increase in price and delay in service. I am editing the review as it will not allow me to delete it. He seems like a good guy and was very responsive but the review is not based on the work completed - I just wanted to amend my previous review.

The communication was great! Whomever I was communicating with through thumbtack was on point and always responded back in a timely manner. Joe was the guy who came out to do the work, he was very professional, kind and was out the way. Considering this is a doctor's office he was very discreet and got the job done! I will most certainly use them for any other plumbing needs that we have in the future. Thanks Handy Tool Belt!!
