FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please contact me for WEDDINGS or COMMERCIAL REQUESTS! All other photography requests (senior, family, engagement and similar requests) typically fall into the 'standard session' category. Each standard session lasts 45 minutes and includes a disc along with a print release. I do not limit the number of images. If they are decent, you'll have them on your disc. (I do supply prints as well for an additional charge). If a client feels 45 minutes isn't enough time, additional sesssions can be added at a discounted rate. My pricing (listed below) is based on time needed as well as the photography location. Within 15 miles of zip 30705: (Jan-Sept) $150.00 first session (45 min) $125.00 each additional session. (Oct-Dec) $175.00 first session, $150.00 each additional session. Areas in or near Ellijay GA, Ft. Oglethorpe GA, Chattanooga TN, Calhoun GA or Rome GA: (Jan-Sept) $175.00 first session (45 min) $150.00 each additional session. (Oct-Dec) $200.00 first session, $175.00 each additional session. Atlanta and north of Atlanta on the I-75 corridor (Marrietta, Kennesaw, Acworth, Cartersville) TWO SESSION MINIMUM (Jan-Sept) $200.00 first session (45 min) $175.00 each additional session. (Oct-Dec) $225.00 first session, $200.00 each additional session. For my potential Atlanta clients. If you're on a budget, do consider driving to Chatsworth (30705) for portraits with me. We have beautiful mountain and river views that make for excellent family/senior/engagement portraits. and you can enjoy a small road trip without breaking the bank. You won't regret it!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our new client relationship typically begins with social media or telephone communication. If the client wishes to get together to discuss things over coffee, that's great! However we understand that everyone leads hectic lives and for the client, this isn't always feasible and/or preferred. More often than not, we meet our clients for the very first time on the day we arrive to fulfill their photography needs!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My photography skills were gained through a combination of several different factors: Networking with other photographers, online research and, surprisingly, an enhanced knowledge of math and science ( as these rather 'boring' factors actually come into play quite often when creating the perfect picture). These self-taught studies have helped grow my business each and every year since my launch in 2012. In June 2017, I began the process of obtaining Professional Photographer Certification through PPA, and expect to be in possession of that certification by the end of this year.
