FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No two homes are going to be priced the same. Cleaning is tricky (especially to quote online) because there are so many variables. Every home is different and every home owner has different desires, in terms of exactly what they would like done. Depending on the amount of time needed, and just how much of a "Deep Cleaning" the space is in need of, the price can always fluctuate. Here are some variables that I consider while pricing a job: The size of the space, how much build up is present, type of flooring, am I going to have to pick up before I can clean, does the home have pets, etc..
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key! Letting someone into your home is very personal, and here at The Greener Cleaner we understand that. With questions and detailed descriptions of both parties expectations, we can do our best to make the initial process as simple and easy going as we possibly can. Whether we are present for a One Time Cleaning, Move Out/In Cleaning, or Weekly Cleaning -- we invest everything we've got in order to show your home the love it deserves!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I like to consider myself a jack of all trades and a master of none. During my four years of college I studied just about every area of art humanly possible and always believed that was the direction my life was going to go. Then I discovered my passion for aviation. First, I became a certified and licensed Hang Glider Pilot in which completely changed my life. The love of aviation quickly began to overpower my love of art. After hang gliding for 3 years I decided to become a Flight Attendant. It was this job that led me to cleaning. I was gone for days and sometimes weeks at a time and organization skills were critical to my overall well being. I quickly began to realize that the more clean and organized my home was, the easier it was for me enjoy my job along with every other aspect of my life. This inspired me to help others do the same. I believe that my love for art has helped me in the cleaning industry because I treat each project as my own form of art, in which creates a beautiful finished project. As for my love of aviation, I have learned hands on skills that I carry to work with me everyday. I never dreamed that I would end up the owner/operator of a cleaning business, but I am so thankful it worked out that way.
