We had communicated through this app and I felt we were on the same page. We continue to talk through email and the phone. I asked for a floor plan and color scheme. I mentioned this was for a hair salon and I wanted to change the look in here. We set up a time to meet and for her to come look at this space. I redid my salon 5 years ago and just wanted to update it with color and move some things around. Michelle came out we talked and she started taking measurements with her mother. I gave her $350 in cash to drawl me up a floor plan and pick out colors.... she told me she needs about 3 weeks to accomplish this. So we set up a follow up date. I arranged my clients and schedule and also had my brother here who would be doing the work. She shows up and walks in with a poster board with all new furniture, she shows me 1 floor plan which was not functional! She expected me to hire an electrician and Rewire thins to fit this new floor plan. It just didn’t make sense. She then handed me the estimate for $19,000 something dollars. When I asked what about he paint and colors. She goes “just leave it.” Who should up with out the colors picked out and expects a client to hand over 20 grand.. the furniture was cheap and over priced and wouldn’t even go with the current color. I was so disappointed. She later sent me and email of a picture of a paint swap. I’m done at this point I asked for a refund because I never got what I asked and paid for. She told me no and good luck. Don’t trust anyone who seems nice like I did. Ask around until you have a referral because Michelle will just lie and try to get money out of you.....Mar 23, 2018Verified
Michele has been great to work with. I was tasked with the job of redecorating my boss's office. I found Michele and she came in to work with the owners. She transformed their office from boring blah work space with super huge desk to beautiful place to come work everyday.Mar 23, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Each project is so different it becomes difficult to come up with standard pricing. I can say my standard consultation is $250.00 up to 2 1/2 hours including travel time. At that time I can access my fee however, I may need members of my team to determine a renovation project.I like to proposal the project complete.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Every interior design project starts off with a design consultation so we can determine the scope and budget of the project. The initial meeting gives to a sense of what is important to the client so I can provide the best solution to their dilemma. Budget also plays a key factor of what can be done and where I may need to be more creative in my approach.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an interior design degree from the Art Institute of Philadelphia and have been servicing clients in the design business for 25 years.
