FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I have been contacted, I typically like to set up a consultation with the couple (either in person or over the phone). I like to spend an hour or so getting to know the couple (so that the ceremony is personal to them), also about their vision for the wedding and what specifically they do and do not want. Additional consultations are sometimes added if the couple requires help writing vows or wishes to change aspects of the ceremony.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in event planning for many years, so I have gained experience on the job. As far as being an officiant, I was a youth pastor for many years before I moved into the wedding business. I have performed dozens of weddings, and strive to make each ceremony touching and special for the couples big day!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
For me it all started the year I got married, I enjoyed planning my own wedding so much, and realized how much time and effort goes into the planning and execution, that I decided I wanted to help other couples to make the lead up to their big day less stressful. Shortly after I became ordained and have been successfully working in this field since.
