FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike most, I do not use a cookie-cutter pricing system. I believe each client is unique with a different level of needs. Pricing normally depends on what level of coaching you need, frequency of in-person coaching, and distance (if I'm driving to you). However, the only resource I provide for a flat $50 fee is my Introduction to Nutrition and Exercise pamphlet. This option is only for those not pursuing personal coaching provided by me, otherwise, this information is included upon initial consultations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always sit down with every client for an initial consultation. Here, we get to know each other in a comfortable setting and discuss your past experience, if any, and your specific goals. From there, I generally teach you basic knowledge of exercise and nutrition that is often never shared by most personal trainers you would pay in a gym. My goal is very simple: I want to help you, but more importantly, I want to teach you about how to take control of your own health and fitness so you're not stuck in the vicious cycle of paying personal trainers each and every time you slip up and want to get back in shape. You deserve to look and feel good, and with my help you'll find that process to be very straightforward and enjoyable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied health science and nutrition. But as with many other things in life, experience is our best teacher. I've now worked with many clients at this point ranging from stay-at-home parents to amateur athletes, both male and female.
