Introduction: As much as you want your final images to be gorgeous and exactly what you envisioned, I want that feeling even more. I am personally invested in every shoot I do and will always go the extra mile to make you or your subject as comfortable as possible. The relationship between a photographer and a subject needs to be candid, honest and comfortable or else the uneasiness translates directly through the photo. I love to go the extra mile with my clients, either by chatting before over coffee, offering a glass of wine or playing their favorite music. I'd love to work with you and create images that bring a smile to your face that you will treasure forever. I enjoy every aspect of my life, whether it's moving across the country alone or running a marathon. Even though I'm a terrible runner, I have always been drawn to challenges. I thrive in new environments with new people and in that moment, I'm engulfed and always committed to the very end. Photography is no different to me. I'm committed to creating a beautiful final product, 100% present and love to take on any challenge. I also genuinely love to see the ever-so-slight switch of someone's nervous and uncomfortable smile to the first genuine laugh and spark of inspiration.

I needed some yoga photographs for my website and Susie completely came through on every level. She listened to my upfront and on-location ideas and gave me plenty of helpful suggestions too. We were able to coordinate a time that suited my odd schedule and we shot at multiple unique locations that I wouldn't have thought of without Susie's art-director expertise. She sent me a few first peeks to check in with me, which I appreciated. I think it's beneficial to have a collaborative experience where both sides are able to give and get feedback. After sending me several photographs from each location, I was able to choose my favorites and she sent the high-resolution files to me in a timely matter (much faster than I thought). Susie is open to tailoring your photography session to whatever experience suits you best. She can take it and run with it, make all the decisions and present you with wonderful photographs. Or, act more like a partner, communicating often and working together. Either way, you're bound to get a solid, professional and creative product.

I asked Susan to take my pictures for my Christmas cards and I'm so happy I did! I only had a few ideas of what I wanted and she was able to turn that into a great session. She was completely flexible, agreeing to meet me early in the morning to take the pictures. I'm not accustomed to having a professional photograph me but she put me completely at ease by making suggestions for how I should stand and pose. In an hour and a half we got everything we needed from 4 different locations. Her turnaround for getting the pictures to me was quick. I would definitely recommend Susan! She is professional and has a great eye.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the photography industry for over 10 years. I began my freshman year of college founding a Film and Photography Society, which solidified my passion for beautiful and engaging images. I am also professionally trained in the Adobe Creative Suite, which means I have full ability to do any photo retouching, manipulation and any further editing you may need.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with fantastic people, whether it is a large ad agency or a singular person who needs a quick LinkedIn headshot! I get along with just about anyone and adapt very easily to any professional or casual environment.
