I was very happy with the services I received from Caliber Carpentry. The job was done with no problems. I would not hesitate to use Caliber Carpentry in the future for other needs.Jun 1, 2018VerifiedJim R.'s reply
Thank you very much for the great review Mr. Shulak. It was a pleasure meeting you and working for you. Looking forward to future projects.
Prompt service and straightforward pricing. Very professional work ethic. My new door was installed within the time specified and within my budget. Would hire him again.Mar 26, 2018VerifiedJim R.'s reply
Thank you so much for the positive review and for choosing me for your install. It was a pleasure working for you.
Jim was very reliable throughout the entire quoting, measuring, and installation process. Our original 1920's front door needed the handle repaired- which took some finesse and time. He also installed a storm door at the back of the house. We'd definitely get in touch with him for any future needs around the house.Feb 5, 2017Verified
He did a very good job. He re-tiled our fireplace, installed new light fixtures and fixed some cracks in our plaster walls. He showed up when he said and was communicative about the project. We were very happy and would use him again without question.Jan 17, 2017Verified
Came out for a quote and then I never heard from him again.Jan 14, 2017VerifiedJim R.'s reply
I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding on my behalf but from what I recall you were suppose to get back to me when you were ready.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The more work you give me the lower I can go on my prices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I prefer a face to face meeting to get a feel of the project at hand and what exactly the customer's needs and wants are. Discuss options, cost and timing. Then follow up after job is done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am formally trained through the Carpenter's union apprenticeship program and by non union master carpenters in the field. I have 20 years experience altogether.
