FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to work on an hourly basis as I believe anything short of an hour will make us feel rushed to finish the work for that particular lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During our first lesson, I use that time to get to know my new student. This allows me to know where their experience level is. Their goals and the type of acting they would like to focus on are discussed as well. I present my expectations of how the lessons will be managed and how we will work from lesson to lesson. From the 2nd lesson onward, we will work on a variety of scenes from TV/FIlm/Theater and we even work on monologues for future auditions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Illinois State University in 2003 and have since been working professionally as an actor here in Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. I have been on 6 TV shows as guest stars and a couple of dozen theater productions here in Chicago and hundreds of auditions over the years. My experiences as a working actor have given me the ability to share my experiences with young up and coming talent.
