Asha Brewer is an outstanding therapist and ultimate professional! I am an avid traveler and have enjoyed massages all over the world but there is nothing like the experience you'll have in her talented and caring hands. Once, I was left feeling sore and in pain after helping a friend move. I could hardly move! I came to Asha for a deep tissue treatment and she made me feel like a brand new person. I continued to see her for a period when I would have flare ups and every time she worked wonders on me. She is truly the BEST and her accolades are all well deserved.

      About this pro

What makes my services stand out is my extensive training and experience in a wide variety of alternative therapies. Many specialties of massage,a powerful form of meditation and Reiki just to name a few. I was born a healer, it's my calling, not just a job to make money. It's important to know that your therapist truly cares about your well being. Even as a child, I had the calling to serve humanity even though my mom preferred that I just focus on being a child. I knew early in life that we all need to raise our level of consciousness and heal emotional trauma in ourselves in order to heal our world and live our best lives. In addition to more than 30 years of research and study, I was born an Empath. An Empath is a highly intuitive person who is extremely sensitive to the energy and vibrations of living beings. My natural abilities combined with extensive training and personal dedication is rare in any profession. Reiki sessions are done at my beach front location overlooking a magnificent view of the lake in a quiet, secure, peaceful environment. What I enjoy about the work I do is knowing that I'm helping my clients heal and connect to the deeper parts of their spirit. When the body, mind and spirit are working together from a peaceful place we make better choices and create a better world for ourselves and those around us.

Clinical Massage Sessions: 1 hour $100 1.5 hours $125 2 hours $150 Relaxation Massage: 1 hour $60 1.5 hours $90 2 hours $120 Reiki Sessions: 0.5 hour $37 1 hour $75 1.5 hours $125 Meditation: $10 per person. • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One of the most important parts of creating a harmonious and professional relationships with any client is the initial evaluation. The standard client intake form is only one page. I've designed a 7-page therapy intake form in order to have a complete understanding of my clients physical, emotional and spiritual life. Working as a healer means "do no harm" and how can I do my best without a clear picture of your overall health? Once we've completed the initial evaluation and our first session, detailed therapy notes are kept throughout the relationship. Sometimes homework is given like specific types of self care in order to maintain the work done in therapy. Sometimes referrals to specialists are given. There are always two main goals: (1) Optimally manage an illness that has no cure. (2) Improve or heal an illness and then use therapy to maintain wellness.
        • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received extensive massage training at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy and became certified 17 years ago when it was one of the top five schools in the country (Now Cortiva). I was certified in level 1 Reiki in 2001 and devoted 15 years of study, research, practice and healing to the mastery of empathic energy healing work and received certification for all 3 levels in 2014. Other certifications and training include: ** Prenatal Massage ** Hot Stone Massage ** Bamboo Massage ** Orthobionomy ** Fijian Barefoot Massage ** Thai Table Massage ** Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy ** Therapeutic Applications of Aromatherapy and Essential Oils ** Chakra Balancing ** Sports Injuries ** Reflexology ** Massage for clients living with HIV/AIDS ** Pathology of Chronic Conditions ** Clinical Trigger Point Therapy ** Focusing (emotional body awareness technique - developer Eugene Gendlin, PHd) ** The Physics and Posture of Pain Relief ** Conducting a Professional Client Interview & Massage ** Business Ethics and Standards ** Business Ethics: Roles & Boundaries ** Self Care for Therapists ** Meditation for Spiritual Healing ** Whole Foods and The Vegan Diet ** EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)
