- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whenever a new client wants me to pet sit for them the first time, the first thing I do is come over to meet the pet. I do this definitely with canine because if the canine doesn't trust me, they wont let me walk them, and then they'll have accidents in the house. Felines usually warm up to me throughout the stay if they initially want nothing to do with me. If the meet and greet goes well, then I talk to the client about getting keys, things they want done, medications etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working with Cats and dogs as a Vet Assistant for almost 5 years now. I started off as a kennel assistant. I am also currently taking classes to become a certified Veterinary Technician.
