Brent Garcia, LAc, CMTPT
About this pro
I met with Brent today, he made me feel comfortable and at ease right off the bat. I have a lot going on with my health and I experience a lot pain and different symptoms. For many years a lot of different Drs would brush off what I am experiencing, throw their arms up in defeat and give me more medications. Within 10 min of Brent working on me, I had relief and some idea of what could be the cause of a lot of my issues. For the first time in a long time I have hope! I am looking forward to working with Brent.Apr 21, 2017Verified
Brent is in tune and in touch. He's exceeded my hopes in every session. He's personable, professional, and fun. Brent understands the language of the body in a way that makes it feel like he's psychic. He's rough and tough enough with me that I feel like I'm getting my money's worth, and gentle enough with my wife that she's no longer terrified of acupuncture. Magic!Mar 19, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing structure is $100 for an initial 90-minute visit, which includes consultation and treatment. Follow-up treatments, one hour in length, are $90. Packages are available, and treatments from any package are transferable to friends and family.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The client fills out some basic paperwork, and then we meet for an initial consultation. This involves up to 30 minutes of conversation, so I can understand health history and current difficulties and determine what I can do to help. This is also a great opportunity for all the client's questions to be answered. The consultation is immediately followed by a one-hour treatment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I hold a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, which included coursework in acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, and other East Asian modalities. I have also completed over 100 hours of training with the president of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists. I am licensed as an acupuncturist (LAc) and massage therapist (LMT) and certified as a myofascial trigger point therapist (CMTPT). I am also a Reiki Master practitioner. I thrive on continuing my education, and I'm always seeking opportunities to learn from master practitioners.
