Joannie the DJ
About this pro
We hired Joannie for a milestone birthday bash. The party was a blast & Joannie took it over the top with her entertainment! She kept the party rockin' & the dance floor active late into the night! People who normally don't stay late ... Closed the night out with us ... Singing, dancing & celebrating!! Working with Joannie during all the pre-party planning was so easy, super fun & a complete pleasure. Joannie is a talented D.J. and such a great person ... She's an incredible combination ... Giving you twice the reason to hire her. Thank you Joannie ... You're the best & a true pro!!Aug 16, 2017
Joannie DJ'd a party for me and she was fabulous. A great selection of music and also very knowledgeable about music. She knows her stuff and played to the audience very well.Aug 7, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? No two events are the same. I will happily customize my pricing to fit your budget (when I'm available).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It all depends on what type of event I'm doing. For weddings, I like to sit down with the couple and discuss the overall plan. If they're comfortable enough to discuss it over the phone or by email, that's fine by me too. I'm working for the customer and I want them to feel comfortable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Passion for music cannot be taught. Either you have it or you don't. When all of the other little girls were playing with dolls, I was in the basement with my brother's record collection, playing music and reading liner notes. When we had what are now called "play dates," most kids would bring a ball or a Frisbee. I'd always bring a record and make everyone dance. I did this as far back as I can remember.
