Introduction: Hey there, I’m Hailey!
After studying dance and movement for many years, I found my home on the mat after college originally in pursuit of stress relief. Little did I know back in 2014 that a commitment to a regular yoga practice would open doors to many different types of exercise and encourage ways to live more mindfully and sustainably on and off the mat.
Now a bonafide sweat enthusiast, I am a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher (RYT 200). Through an energetic and nurturing hands-on Vinyasa teaching style, I believe yoga is for everybody and every body—I want my students to discover how incredible you can feel when you leave your stresses and to-do lists at the door and give time back to yourself. I believe every return to the mat is new, so find your flow with me to sweat a little and laugh a lot!
I am available for booking in the KC Metro to lead private instruction, small groups and birthday parties-- my comprehensive training includes specialized attention for stress relief, trauma, chair yoga, prenatal yoga, yoga for kids and yoga therapy for injury.
YOGA BENEFITS:
For centuries, the study of yoga has been passed down one-by-one as the secret elixir of stress relief, increased body awareness and alignment. Yoga is taught directly from the teacher to the student to transform the mind and ground the body in this ancient lineage.
IS YOGA YOUR THING? LETS PRACTICE IF:
-You are new to yoga and are looking to increase your strength, flexibility or yoga vocabulary prior to trying out studio classes
-You are not new to yoga and are looking for a deeper or more expansive practice. Let’s work together to take it to the next level
-You are looking for ways to incorporate yoga/mindfulness into your existing athletic regimen
-You’re seeking physical, mental or emotional healing
PRIVATE YOGA INSTRUCTION INCLUDES:
-Alignment-based Asana (poses)
-Pranayama (breathwork and breathing)
-Guided meditation
-Mudras (energy gestures)
-Relaxation/stress relief
BEFORE WE ROLL OUT MATS:
Prior to our first session, let’s talk on the phone or meet up for coffee, kombucha (or maybe a beer, I won't discriminate) to chat on your personal goals, needs and where you want to grow by coming to the mat. People find their way to yoga for many reasons, but I want to work with you to reach and cultivate your own practice through close attention to alignment, human anatomy and (most importantly) fun.
RATES AND SCHEDULING:
Let’s connect! I’m available and flexible to meet you in the comfort of your own kitchen/living room, office or outside (park, lawn).
