- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat fee per square foot. It is based on the size of the project and the scope of the work. * Full Service Interior Design $1000 for every 100 square feet Consists of: - Taking detailed measurements of all spaces to be designed - Drawing floor plans - Space Planning - Color scheme selection - Kitchen and bath design - Product sourcing and selection, including furniture, finishes, window treatments, lighting, and accessories * Premium Design Consulting $750 per 100 square feet - Color scheme selection - Product sourcing and selection, including furniture, finishes, window treatments, lighting, and accessories * Basic Design Consulting $500 per 100 square feet Consists of: - Suggesting suitable furniture, flooring, and other home goods stores where you should look for items for your project, including wholesalers. - Placing orders for furniture from wholesalers on your behalf. (No additional fee for this, but you must still pay Illinois sales tax.) - Accompanying you to trade-only sample sales at the Merchandise Mart so you can get good deals on discounted designer furniture. - Helping you narrow down your choices when you are faced with several options *Art and Accessory Selection $250 per 100 square feet Consists of: -Finding the finishing touches that complete and personalize your space. * One-time in-home consultation $250 Consists of: Seeing your space and making suggestions about color schemes, products, and furniture stores. I do not charge any additional fees for my services. *50% of the fee is due when I start working on your project and the remaining 50% is due when it is complete. *For small projects $1000 and under, the full amount is due when the work begins. *If you choose to get a one-time in-home consultation but later upgrade to a higher level of involvement, your $250 will be deducted from the total amount. *I accept credit and debit cards. *Serious inquiries only, please. Getting to know your style as well as how the space needs to function in order to fit your needs. Connecting on Pinterest and Houzz if you have accounts there to see and share images and products for your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in interior design as well as an art degree.
