- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My normal pricing is $75/hour for “in-person” yoga private lessons, guided meditation/relaxation/pranayama sessions, Personal Training, or Ballet/Barre Classes. However, I offer a special for new clients: TWO 1-Hour Private Sessions (of any type) for $100. This intro special for new clients is to see if we are a good fit before deciding on purchasing more sessions or a bigger package for a discounted rate. Discounts are given for purchases of 5, 6, 10, 15, 20, 30 or 40 sessions paid in advance, the more you purchase up front, the lower the price per session ends up being (generally well below the single session price of $75). - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There is some paperwork that must be filled out prior to any kind of physical activity. If you are doing private yoga, you will first need to read, sign and date the following forms: -Medical History Form -Waiver and Release of Liability Form -Service Policies Agreement I will email you these in advance so you can have a chance to read them over, come up with any questions for me, then have them signed and ready to go at our first session.. You will have a yoga session with me where I ask you to follow my lead and go through a specific set of asanas (poses) to watch how your body forms these shapes and any noticeable areas of needed improvement or areas where you excel/show great proficiency. From that point, together we will come up with a plan of daily or weekly yoga practices that focus on your desired improvement areas whether it be physical areas (core, arm toning, increased flexibility), or areas like overall mood elevation, relaxation, meditation, or breathing techniques/pranayama work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I am an Experienced (over 1,200 hours of yoga instruction) 200 Hr-Certified Yoga Instructor and Yoga Alliance-Registered Teacher (E-RYT-200) and YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider). I am also a Certified Gymnastics Instructor and Professional Member of USA Gymnastics and a Certified ACSM Personal Trainer. I have been teaching group and private yoga, group fitnesses classes, and personal training since December of 2017.
