FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If I am preparing a meal in a clients home, we will work together to determine budget. Cooking instruction is based on an hourly rate. Bottom line, I want my customers to be happy, we'll start with their expected outcome and budget and work together from there to create a plan. If a customer is looking for prepared foods delivered from Carla's Fresh Eats there is standard pricing per meal. Depending on the location there could be a (small) delivery fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come from a background in media--it all starts with a Client Needs Analysis. That means, I'll ask a LOT of questions. Starting with the fun stuff like: What do you want your meal/party/dinner to look like? What do you want your guests to say when they leave? A successful event looks like...? I want to get to know you and what your wants, needs and expectations are.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught, although, I have taken a class here and there, it's been experience gained over a lifetime. I should mention that I've been entertaining in my home for years, Easter dinner is 18, I host over 50 for my holiday party! I know how to plan, prep and time a dinner for 2 or 22!
