FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 50+ years riding experience, all around, various disciplines. Specialize in Dressage now, and have worked with my own trainer since 2001. My trainer uses pure classical dressage method as his mentor and trainer does (based in old Spanish Riding School teaching). My specialty is the beginning, the foundation of the seat for correct and safe riding.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started helping people that were having difficulty finding someone to help them with their riding when a local tack shop owner suggested to these people they ask if I might be able to help them. Suddenly I had a handful of people I was working with. It has grown from there. Most were older adult women that wanted to get back on a horse but found they were unbalanced or even frightened of getting on. It is much easier to have confidence when you feel safe because you are well balanced. As we age we don't balance ourselves quite as easily as when we are young.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with people that have never been on a horse before and also have worked with very advanced riders. I have worked with children, teens and adults.
