After some unexpected tragedy in our family, combined with major life events like the loss of friends, loss of a parent and our children moving out all hutting us in the same month, my wife and I had a breakdown in communication. As my wife was packing I desperately looked for someone to intervene and restore basic communication and give us a chance. Two months later we are still together, still in love. We still have some breakdowns but with Polly helping to maintain communication. We are mending old wounds and new ones and looking to a future. It was late on a Saturday when we reached out and she was right there to help us. I can tell she has a personal interest in out marriage surviving and feel an ease in talking to her that I have not felt with other therapists or even dear friends. My wife can say the same and she was reluctant to consider therapy at all. Polly gave us the tools to give out marriage a fighting chance when we were on the verge of utter collapse. Polly has gone above and beyond checking in with us both prior to weekly sessions, been available by phone and email and text whenever we needed her and has reached out to us, which is reassuring of her interest. I have had various therapist in my life. I have never had one check in randomly just to make sure I was doing alright.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard fee that ranges from $75 to 120. I do a 60 minute session as opposed to the normal 45 minute session. I request to be paid after each session. If people want a longer session. I do a 90 minute session for $90-$150
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do a complementary 20 minute phone conversation to find out what issues the customer wants to deal with We also discuss if they want to do this on a one-time basis weekly or monthly and we also discuss fees
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree and I have a license from California as a licensed marriage and family therapist. #21968. I have over 30 years practicing
