- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Given that my entire career has been spent as a Corporate Recruiter with an additional 4.5 years as a National Client Trainer for the pioneer in digital job search, Monster.com, I have a unique perspective on how to craft a successful job search strategy. I’ve recruited in a number of industries across many business lines. While working at Monster.com I trained recruitment teams from hi-tech to retail to manufacturing to financial services firms to some of the best known global brands in the world including eBay, Google, PepsiCo and Paramount Pictures, to name a few. Having seen how recruitment and hiring decisions are made across all different industries and companies of varying sizes, having personally interviewed thousands of candidates and having reviewed countless resumes, I am able to offer valuable insight into what works and what doesn’t. I also traveled across the US for Monster.com where I trained large groups of job seekers in transition as part of Monster’s “Keep America Working” tour. When you combine my experience from these vantage points, I possess a unique skill set that has proved to be invaluable to the many job seekers I’ve coached personally and in group settings.
