To say Ben and his team were great would be an understatement. They were INCREDIBLE. Not only was the work high quality but they were super fast and very precise and efficient. Ben was amazing to work with! He talked through the design plans with me, outlined areas of challenges, and we figured out solutions together. Regular check-ins as the work progressed and super responsive with any questions/comments I had. When I did find work that was not meeting my expectations, the conversations were polite, we reviewed, and he made a commitment to address it immediately. Even when it caused his crew to have to come back out after all work had been completed. Original bid was in line with several other contractors, but his level of service and responsiveness set him apart! I would 100% work with Ben and crew again and recommend him to friends looking for help.

Ben and his team were incredible to work with. Responsive, understanding of our schedule, and perform high quality work. Our project was sanding and staining our front /back deck. We ordered a different color stain then what we were thinking in our mind (our fault) and Ben worked with us on making sure the end result was to our liking, even coming back for an extra day (at no additional cost). In my mind this was going above and beyond which doesn't happen often nowadays. I look forward to working with him and his team in the future and highly recommend Benzina Construction!!

After about a year of this project completion I am now ready to evaluate this contractor as a warning for others. As nice as Ben is to work with and flexible too I just don’t think the workmanship is there. I am still dealing with issues of unsealed grout ( I just assumed a contractor would do), uneven subfloor and resulting cracked tile. Initially the bathroom looked OK because of the expensive materials I purchased, but the installation is not good and I think people should know this before they hire this contractor. I think the reason for the good reviews are his negotiating tactics at the end of a job. People should know the quality is not 4 1/2 stars.
