Introduction: I am easy to work with and listen carefully to my clients so I can confidently design a space that is functional and beautiful to dwell in. For clients that know what they want, I help them realize their vision and bring it to life. For those who need more guidance, I know how to gently lead them to discovering their style before implementing it. You will feel at ease through the whole process as I like to use an organized system that starts with a lifestyle questionnaire and Pinterest/Houzz collaboration. Next, my clients love that I bring creative ideas presented through mood boards, 3D renderings, and even a virtual walk-through so they really get a feel for my vision. Then, they can take advantage of below-retail prices through the many home furnishing resources that I partner with. Or I might specify items at retail stores if I find it to be a good match, I don't limit my clients to purchasing through me – my goal is to deliver a beautiful and functional space within a budget that works. If any remodeling is done, I can also recommend reliable tradespeople for the project. Lastly, if I am on board through the end, you can experience the joy of a fully completed project through the install/reveal day. I enjoy full-service projects from concept to reveal but I also love small projects like a Color Consultation where I help clients select the right paint color, flooring, etc. I strongly believe that good design should be affordable and that's why I also offer e-design where clients and I work strictly through the magic of technology. It is great job that Sandi did for my living and dining rooms. We really enjoy to be in our living and dining rooms each day. She spent a long time to help us to find a top quality table. Sandi is wonderful! She is professional, prompt, and communicative. The way I would characterize our work together was collaborative. When I needed her opinion, she was ready with great suggestions, but she was also very responsive to my preferences, ideas and budget. I felt very comfortable working with her and knew I could trust her opinions. I only did a color consultation with Sandi, along with suggestions for furniture layout and lighting. We had the first room painted yesterday and i LOVE the color! So glad I consulted with her. In the future if I ever need more help with designing my home, I’d definitely call Sandi!

Sandi has been great with helping us plan our living room remodel. She came to our house to take pictures and then created visual designs to help us see her ideas for our room. She has also provided references to general contractors as well as electricians for our lighting needs. We went with one of her referrals to install recessed LED lights for our hallway and bedrooms. She helped us set up the appointment, arranged the pricing, and then followed up to see if we were satisfied with the work. Although we still haven't moved forward with our living room remodel yet, she is continuing to work with us to make this room happen. Sandi is friendly, professional, and talented - we highly recommend working with Sandi for your interior design needs.

We had a great experience working with Sandi! Our outdated family room and eating area needed some change, but we didn't know where to start. Sandi was able to transform the room into a modern space that's become our favorite place in the house! She was easy to work with and after the initial design consultation provided suggestions for specific items we wanted to purchase and created mood boards and 3D pictures so we could see what the room would look like. She has a great eye for design and provided advice on color selection, decor items, and furniture placement while making sure the room was family-friendly and would grow with us through the years. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly rate and a project rate and it really depends on the client's needs before I make this determination. If it is an hourly rate, I will give you an estimate of hours so you feel comfortable about moving forward. Clients also take advantage of purchasing window treatments, flooring, furniture, and more at below-retail prices through my partnerships with quality suppliers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to start with a complimentary phone chat to learn more about your project. Then you can expect a detailed proposal explaining my deliverables, design fees, and more via email. In some cases, I might need more information like photos or a site visit but most of the time, that's not necessary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree from FIDM in downtown LA and have always done some form of design. At least 4 times a year, I attend home trade shows to stay on top of the trends and to source new quality suppliers for clients. As popular materials are always changing, I am vigilant about continually educating myself on surfaces, plumbing fixtures, color trends, and more.
