FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to bid by the job but will do general handyman work for $25 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get most of my work from referrals so an introduction is usually the first step. I then review the work with the customer and give a bid. If needed I will write up a contract and proceed per that agreement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started as a framer in high school and worked my way up to becoming a new construction and remodeling business owner. I got an Associates degree in small business administration to advace my business in 1989. I changed to exterior remodeling exclusively in the eighties and focused on siding and windows. I was trained at the Alcoa factory in Sidney, OH. I started my handyman division in 1994. I returned to university and received my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management in 2008.
