Vijay Britto Photography
About this pro
I worked with Vijay on getting an author headshot done. He was creative, responsive, and very easy to work with - a very stress-free experience and I was very happy with the results!May 9, 2018Verified
Vijay Britto was such a great choice for my recent shoot. I needed some new headshots and lifestyle shots for my website. Vijay was very communicative all throughout the entire process. He even created a Pinterest board prior to the shoot for inspiration. On the day of the shoot, he showed up early and then really took his time finding the best location and angle for each shot. He gave great direction on poses as well. The finished, edited shots look great! Would highly recommend!Nov 22, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is based on a individual need basis and is customized accordingly. The quote I provide is an estimate and will be refined based on understanding the specific needs of the request. It is inclusive of a session fee that could vary between $75 to $125 depending on various factors such as length of the session, members involved, distance etc. Also included are hi-res digital images provided via digital share or memory stick - the cost varies for these varies from $75 to $200 - depending on the number of edited images. I also provide the option of purchasing a individual image which usually turns out to be a more expensive but allows the customer to only pick what they like.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once I am approached for an assignment I like to connect with the customer - in person or on the phone - to get a clear understanding of the requirements and expectations. If whatever reason I do not believe I am best suited for the job I am completely transparent about it with the customer - I believe it is the best interest for both parties since I am establishing a relation. If we mutually agree that I am appropriate person for the job, we go ahead and set up a time-slot and location for the shoot. From that point forward till the shoot I stay very engaged addressing any queries, providing suggestions on colors, locations and any additional information that is needed. More importantly I think this is necessary to establish a rapport with the people you are photographing - often that is the difference between a flat two dimensional image vs the personality. Post the shoot based on customer preference I provide a viewing gallery and allow them to pick the select number of images which I then work on and provide to the customer. My usual turnaround time is a quick preview image within 2 days and the rest within a week to 10 days. As a bonus - if there are additional images that the customer likes I offer them free in their unedited raw form
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?"Portrait of a Stranger" which I have been pursuing since the last 3 years is something that I am immensely fond and proud of. It is essentially seeking out people on the street - every day people going about their business - and requesting them a few minutes of their time for a picture and sharing a little about themselves.
