About this pro
Dan was a great ACT tutor for my son, Mac! Mac's first attempt was a 24, but Dan told us he thought he could raise his score significantly. On his third attempt he made a 30! Dan was professional and knowledgeable, and knew how to connect with my son. I honestly never thought Mac could reach a 30, but Dan knew how to tutor him to get there. He was well worth the money, and Mac's resulting scholarships more than paid for the expense! Dan was very accessible and responsive to Mac's crazy, ever changing high school schedule. I would highly recommend him for any tutoring needs! Cindy Lassing NashvilleFeb 16, 2018
I'm currently studying for the nursing entrance exam specifically the math and reading portion Dan has taught me how to look at the information in different ways, multiple ways of tackling the problems, and being confident . I'm satisfied and confident that I will do great. He's very professional and I value his opinions given for me to do well.Feb 3, 2018Verified
Dan tutored both of our children, a daughter and a son. He was amazing with each personality; always encouraging, patient, and professional. He helped each child reach their desired score. To a parent with many questions, Dan was always easy to reach. He was quick to respond and always gave constructive feedback. I highly recommend Dan. He was excellent!!Jan 8, 2018
Great experience working with Dan....helped my son prepare for the ISEE, but also would help with homework if I preferred or we had a major project. Highly recommend...Jan 3, 2018
Dan spent the time to connect with my son and find out the best way for him to comprehend information. Dan was willing to go the extra mile and teach my son study habits that he will use for the rest of his life. Dan also made the experience fun and enjoyable that my son actually looked forward to the tutoring sessions.Dec 15, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer a free first session for students and families to ensure we are a good fit, diagnostic tests to establish baselines and goals, and lesson-by-lesson feedback so parents can support their children’s dreams. References from former students are available upon request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we meet to discuss goals, timeframes, and personal fit. Then, we schedule a diagnostic test (if the student has taken another recently, we can substitute that). I analyze the results from the diagnostic test and use that data to prioritize the greatest areas of need and the greatest opportunities for point improvement.
