Hired on Thumbtack

Had a meeting tonight with this contractor and he never called or showed. I had to drive an hour to have know one show up. Then I called and he had too many messages so I could not leave him one. I never received a return call.

I did call you the Saturday before we were supposed to meet. And also had no address to come meet you so it was a miscommunication between both of us.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we discuss what the customer would like done, then the next step is meeting personally with them and seeing the job first hand and find out exactly what the customer is looking to have done. I then research prices to get them the lowest cost for material and then discuss a price with the customer and see if we can come to an agreement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 9 years experience with running construction and carpentry crews as well as 3 years landscaping experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for a friend that owned a business and then worked for a roofing company as well as concrete work and doing landscaping. I started doing the trade because I like doing the work and seeing the outcome of the job.
