- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To start, I generally ask my clients to send me 3-4 websites they really like, with 2-3 sentences explaining what they like and don't like about each website. With that info, I create a draft of the home page. That usually takes 1 week. After you see the draft, we'll make changes to get it exactly right. Once that draft is complete, I'll use that design to create the rest of the pages of the site.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been designing websites for 5 years. I've worked for companies with 1 employee all the way up to 50 employees.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was hired as a marketing assistant at a company in Houston, who asked me to redesign their website. I taught myself, and fell in love with web design!
