Ree Boado Vocal Coaching
About this pro
I am so excited about how much my voice has developed since working with Ree. She has so much knowledge to share about singing and breaks things down in a way that is easy to understand and implement. She is the first vocal coach I've had and made me feel totally at ease!Feb 20, 2018

Ree has been coaching me for almost a year and her attention and presence is amazing. She designs each lesson in such a way that it really exceeds your expectations. When you learn from Ree, your voice will improve and that improves your communication with people around you, which changes everything in your life. I signed up for vocal lessons and ended up getting more than expected. More confidence and empowerment though my voice!Feb 2, 2018

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied classical voice, acting, and musical theater at Grand Canyon University, but the methods of vocal training that worked best for me happened after graduating. I began studying with vocal coaches of artists such as Justin Timberlake, Hayley Williams and Kelly Clarkson, and found that I was able to gain much more vocal power and control in a style that I was more drawn to, in a shorter period of time. Because of this personal experience, I incorporate a huge variety of methods into lessons. I've also received training from internationally renowned, Nashville Vocal Coach Lisa Haupert. Lisa is also the Education Manager of the esteemed VocalizeU teacher network and has been trained in speech science, vocal pedagogy, and medicine through the Summer Vocology Institute with Dr. Ingo Titze, the leading vocal scientist. I'm still studying under Lisa Haupert from Shameless Singing Music, and I am a part of a voice teachers network, where I learn new things almost daily.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I fell into vocal coaching upon the suggestion of a friend and found that I really loved it! What started as something occasional on the side, grew into a love of helping singers with the same vocal issues I had struggled with. As a voice teacher, I get to utilize my passions of encouraging, inspiring and helping others, along with my love for singing and music. It really is the best and most rewarding job! I'm so grateful.
- What types of customers have you worked with?I've worked with a HUGE variety of clients over the years! Singer songwriters needing a few tweaks, professional singers with vocal abuse, housewives who'd like to get back into singing, singers with terrifying stage fright, public speakers wanting to improve vocal inflection, aerobics instructors learning to project, abuse survivors learning to believe in themselves, pastors working on their verbal flow, shy teens with a passion to sing, music students who want to shed the classical style in their pop songs, contestants for various TV talent shows, worship leaders struggling with vocal fatigue, foreign students wanting to lessen their accent, rock singers learning to belt properly, doctors, lawyers, people auditioning for musical theater productions, duos working on harmonies, kids exploring their love of music, retirees reigniting their long time passion, hobbyists, experienced vocalists, complete newbies, you name it! I've worked with students who love pop, rock, r&b, jazz, indie, folk, emo, gospel, country, and more. I am open to anyone who wants to learn and improve their voice!
