- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge by the hour when it comes to Fashion, Portrait , headshots . Of course this varies from how many outfits you have , to how many pictures you want . Sometimes , no, most of the time I just give my clients one whole priced package . With a certain amount of photos , and a time frame depending on what project we are doing . For commercial photography I charge by the photo . It's not all about the money right now though, so prices are definitely negotiable .
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to meet up ahead of time , grab a coffee , or beer , and discuss some ideas of what they want and what I would want . Get a mutual understanding of each other so the shoot goes smoothly. This also allows me to gain a relationship with the client to become comfortable and ready ! I was doing contracts for a while . But not as much anymore . Nonetheless a contract will be available upon request .
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
None ! I didn't go to school. I didn't take classes . I asked questions , worked with great photographers , connected , bought books , watched countless YouTube videos , OVERALL , THE MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL. I Just, Kept , Shooting . Never stopped . I take breaks now because of my day job and life situations but every chance I get , every second I become inspired , my camera is locked and loaded !
