- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $ 65 an hour and and $ 90 for 90 minutes. This includes consultation, add ons like hot towels, aromatherapy, and deep tissue massage. I also provide stretching, myofascial release, neuromuscular facilitation, and meditation/breathing exercises to enhance your bodywork. I also provide suggestions and stretches for home care. I will also work with you on the fee amount depending on the frequency of your sessions. I also offer a sliding scale fee for those with limited income or special needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a brief chat with my clients about their needs and concerns. Massage involves trust. I treat my clients like I'd want to be treated, respecting personal boundaries and adhering to strict confidentiality guidelines. I believe there is a great benefit to developing a positive therapeutic relationship with my clients and I strive to maintain that.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from massage therapy school with honors and am a licensed massage therapist and a member of AMTA. I also hold a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, which abides by similar ethics and rules of confidentiality as massage. I have a background in law and have worked in the legal field for many years as well and have held managerial positions in diverse settings. I'm highly professional, abide by a strict code of ethics, and always looking for ways to enhance my professional experience.
