Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Caught My Eye Photography of Columbus was created out of my love for capturing the faces of athletes competing. . . I loved seeing the focus, strength, fear, pain, joy. . . it is so often easy to see on the face. From sporting competitions I began customizing sessions for senior portraits, engagements, weddings, maternity, new born, pets and events. But the constant theme is that my style is very photo journalistic in nature -- capturing the moments as they happen, following the action, sometimes having to nudge it a bit, but truly capturing you doing what you do best. . . BEING YOU! My joy comes from capturing an image that truly reflects what I see through my lens. The best compliment is one where you, a friend or a family member looks at an image and says wow, that is beautiful and that looks just like you! My goal is that our time together with my camera is fun, relaxed and natural and that the images we capture reflect the true essence of who you are. That's what is fulfilling for me as a photographer.

When I needed an eye-catching photo for my book cover, Brenda was the obvious choice. The idea of a cover shot was more than a little intimidating, but I trusted Brenda to guide me—and am so glad I did! The image we eventually chose was perfectly timed. It is definitely me—but it's me at a peak "Why can't I look like this EVery day?!" moment. Brenda caught me at my friendly, confident best (in many shots, actually) and gave us the personal, yet professional cover photo we needed. Brenda is technically and creatively excellent, but it's her intuitive ability to draw out the essence of her subjects that makes her images so captivating. Her easy demeanor and engaging personality make you almost forget there's a camera between you, and as you respond to Brenda, she captures one's ideal self. Not surprisingly, she is always my first recommendation to anyone needing a professional portrait. Her remarkable instincts on timing and in reading emotional stories has put her in high demand as a sports and event photographer as well!

Working with Brenda from Caught My Eye Photography was a perfect experience. Brenda came to photograph my new puppy, a 9 week old dog that did not know any commands. Brenda was patient and creative, and captured countless memorable shots. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the pictures were edited and available to view, and was in love with so many of them I'm not sure how I'll ever choose. Brenda was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her for any of your special moments!

Brenda has a relaxed, yet professional approach to the photography session. My High School Senior was reluctant to have senior portraits taken and Brenda helped him feel comfortable to the point that he very much enjoyed his photography session. Because Brenda took the time to create a comfortable environment for my son, the photos truly reflect him and his personality. The "backdrops" she chose for him of the Arena District were perfect and the resulting photos look natural and not like he was posing for a picture. I would highly recommend Brenda for your photography wants and needs!

I love to speak with my client over the phone or in person to get a feel for who they are and what style of photography they are looking for. It is important that we are a good "fit" for each other!
