Introduction: Even at the best boarding facilities, pets can become stressed or sick due to exposure to other animals or a change in environment. Some animals become depressed or fearful, and may not eat or drink as well or as often as they should. By opting to leave your animals at home, you ensure the least possible stress for them during your absence. Pet sitters can provide immeasurably more individualized attention, exercise, play time and walks than a kennel- as well as the hands-on love [and cuddling!] your pet is used to. Overnight stays allow for late night bathroom breaks, early morning feedings, and more hours of interaction for your pet. This service begins at $65/day. I've worked in the animal field since my first job at 15 and I know no matter where my career takes me I won't ever give up fur and four legs! My cat and dog are my only kids at the moment and I hate leaving them behind when I travel - but I don't mind it nearly as much knowing that they won't be kenneled when I go and I love offering my clients that same peace of mind when they travel. Your pets get to stay in their own home and sleep in their own beds (or yours!) and their routines can remain the same. My clients are so appreciative of every photo update and their lack of worry makes my job so fulfilling.
