- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? No two jobs are alike. Each project has different touches and that will affect pricing. I like to physically look at each project, and examine the process in order to repair/build. Once that is established I can determine the time and effort it will require. I keep my pricing honest and up front as possible and stick to a budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It depends on the type of job. We can cover a lot of work, so there is a difference with a job repairing a bathroom wall, and building a bookcase for your living room. It is difficult to get the full picture online, so after sending a quote I typically like to meet to look at the space. Design jobs take some getting to know the space, and the customers desires. I like to meet and hear the customers ideas and build off of those. I can work out some designs with drawings if need be to alleviate concerns. We want to ensure when we walk out of your home, you feel comfortable with the work that is done and will add/keep the value of the home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Bachelors in Communication - The Ohio State University '10 I grew up in a construction family, laboring and cleaning job sites at the age of 15. From there, I dove into various jobs (driver, framer, hanger, acoustical ceilings, estimating, take offs & proposals) dealing with job sizes as small as a retail store, to estimating ceiling specs at a multi million dollar headquarters for Vitamix, in Cleveland.
