We contracted Martin N Jones to put in a 4ft wood fence at our home. The finished product looks wonderful! We plan to stain the fence in the spring but it looks great as is. We have a zero turn mower and were concerned with some of the spacing to get the mower around the shed, in the gates, etc. and Martin N Jones made sure the spacing was exactly what we wanted. They are very competitively priced and I can almost guarantee they would beat the pricing of going to Lowe's or Home Depot ( we obtained quotes from both places).
We did have some very minor hiccups during the process but nothing to deter our faith in the finished product. They were upfront in saying that, although they've had years of experience with installing fences, this is their first solo endeavor as an LLC and they were working out their overall business model. I think that as they acquire more jobs these guys will have their business end perfected!
Overall, we were glad to have worked Martin N Jones and are extremely happy with the finished product and pricing!

We contacted Martin N Sons to get a quote for our fence. We scheduled a time for someone to come out and look at the property and see what we needed in order to give us a quote. The appointment time came and went, and no one showed up. I sent a msg asking why they didn't show, and I got a msg back saying that it was a misunderstanding and can they come out the next day to give us a quote. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen, so I arranged a time for the next day, and again they stood us up. So we waited at home for them to give us a quote for two days, and we were stood up both times. Don't even bother trying to get a quote from this company, never mind getting them to do the work- they no show on estimates. Total waste of time.

We ended up Not using this contractor and recommend others to beware of his business practices. Ethel wanted us to pay for the job "up front," which we Never pay a contractor for work in advance. I'm sure he doesn't pay his employees in advance, nor do I get paid at my job paid in advance. Then he asked us to meet him at Lowes to pay for our own material needed for the fence we were having built. Again, we did not appreciate having been asked to do this and no reputable contractor should ever ask a customer to meet them at a store to purchase their own material. If they cannot supply the needed product and do the job, then I question their business practices in this manner.

im having the worst luck with customers latley .yes i dont pay for materials every job i have i order materials at lowes pro service .i never take mony until the job is complete im sorry but i have had people not pay me ...none of my customers have had a problem with that they prefer it....sorry i dont think thumbtack should even let people leave reviews if. you dont likebthe way i run my business i am a 5 star across the board all my customers are happy .....
