Introduction: I’m Joe Rother and I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University, and got certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Since graduating I have worked with a wide variety of people including athletes at the collegiate level in various sports such as football, lacrosse, and wrestling. I also personal train individuals who have health conditions and other contraindications as well as those rehabbing from shoulder, low back, hip, or knee injuries, and those who simply want to lose weight, move better, and live a healthy lifestyle. I address everything during training to help you reach your goals including mobility exercises, stretching, and other biomechanic assessments. No two people are the same, so all the training sessions completed are customized to meet your specific needs to help you achieve your goals. I enjoy helping others achieve their goals no matter what it is. I know how great I feel when I reach one of my own goals, so I enjoy watching others experience the same satisfaction. I also conduct online training that includes all training sessions programmed as well as video instructions of exercises and techniques if needed. Thank you for your time.

I have trained with Joe Rother for a little over two years and can honestly say you won't find anyone more dedicated to improving your health and strength. He has a genuine passion for what he does and his depth of knowledge of training and rehab methods are incredibly impressive! His straightforward approach and encouragement have helped me achieve things I never thought possible. Each session is challenging and each one is different and fun. He celebrates each milestone I've reached right along with me and that fuels me to set ever-higher goals to smash! Whether you're new to training or have previous experience, Joe will FAR exceed your expectations!! Training with him is a privilege and it's one of the best decisions I've ever made!

Our son started working with Joe when he was 13. Joe really was responsive to our goals for his strength and conditioning, and was extremely knowledgeable on working with a young maturing kid. He suggested we focus on core strength and developing good habits for once he starts working out with the HS football team. In addition, as he continued working out, his needs changed to focus more on some of his quickness as a goalie in Lax. Joe had a developed a regimen that incorporated using his goalie stick, eye hand, and feet quickness. It was fantastic!! We worked out probably a year and half with Joe, and he really gave our son great tools to continue his development as well as confidence walking into a weight room filled with older kids. We will definitely go back to Joe!

Training with Joe Rother has literally changed my life. Joe is a highly skilled trainer who encourages and motivates me to do my best. He makes each workout session challenging yet achievable. He also places a high value on correct form for each lift, incorporating progressive range of motion training and progressive overload. Joe identified a significant lack of mobility which was impeding my progress in powerlifting. In addition, his advice on nutrition and body composition helped me transform my lifestyle. Because of his efforts my overall physical condition is outstanding and I am stronger than ever. I highly recommend Joe Rother without reservation.

i had torn my rotator cuff when I was in the army and ever sense I really babied it and let myself get really out of shape as a result. My shoulder use to hurt almost all day everyday and I was miserable. I started working out with joe about a year and a half ago and it was the best decision I've ever made. I no longer have pain in my bad shoulder. I keep getting stronger every day I look and feel much better which has put me in a better mood every day. And even after all this time joe still comes up with a new exercise every time I train. I highly recommend training with him.

I've worked off and on win various trainers over the last 6 years both one on one and in a group setting, for everything from weight loss to strength training. I can say hands down that Joe is the best trainer I have ever seen or worked with. Besides being stronger than I have ever been and in better shape, he as helped me with working on rehabbing my shoulders as well as pointing out weak muscles that I compensate for. Joe is truly educated in his methodology and knows what he is doing and talking about. I will continue to work with Joe and use what I have been taught for years to come. Thanks I owe you!
