- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Use the xactimate system which is the preferred system for insurance companies which provides a line by line estimate of the project and a detailed description of the work to be done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For emergency services we arrive promptly within a couple hours of your call 24/7, for non-emergency services we arrive within 24 hours to mitigate further damages and give a line by line estimate and description of what must be done whether the client chooses to use our service or do the work themselves. If they choose us the cost of the estimate is removed from the total cost of the project. We then remove all contents of the affected area, then we contain the area to prevent damage from spreading. Once the area is contained the damaged material is disposed of, the affected area is treated with an antimicrobial solvent, then the area is sealed with a fungus resistant paint to prevent any future mold and reduce future water damage.
