Introduction: Our accelerated program allows students to learn their songs at the lesson, so they don’t go home feeling lost. Instead, they are eager to play the piano (not just practice, which sounds boring and hard). From the very beginning, kids are reading and learning their new songs with ease. This boosts their confidence, which causes students to have the desire to practice and explore on their own at home! Because of their self-motivation, quick progress, and many performance opportunities, our students enjoy showing their talents to other people. Their parents often tell me that they’re playing for friends and family all the time without being asked.

My daughter Rebecca has been taking lessons from Amy for going on 5 years now. In the beginning, it was hard to get Rebecca to stay focused and practicing regularly as it all seemed so overwhelming to her, but the way Amy has taught her and built a musical relationship with her has changed that and is literally quite amazing! She makes the lessons fun and profitable and encourages her to challenge herself. Rebecca now values her practice time, and amazes me with the knowledge and ability to play that she has gained in the short time she has been taking lessons. It has really been an amazing transformation under Amys teaching. She is an amazing teacher, musician and mentor! I would highly recommend her!Sted Holton ~ Concord NH

I started playing piano when I was 9, and I spent the first 3 years at some "big" musical school and achieved little. However when I moved over to Prodigy Piano and began taking lessons with Amy, I began to improve and grow a big passion for music. Amy, every single lesson, was so passionate, enthusiastic and ready to teach every week. She was always excited to see you every week and even if you felt frustrated she would always cheer you up and find new and innovative ways to encourage you. I cannot say enough about Amy and Prodigy Piano, I am 18 now and I certainly can say that I would not be the person I am today without them. With Amy and Prodigy Piano I would not be able to continue to play Piano (relatively well) every day and appreciate music as much as I do today!

We've been with Amy for over 5 years and we cannot say enough positive things about our experience with her. She is wonderful with kids of all ages and is an excellent role model whom our girls look up to. Our girls love their weekly lesson with her. She creates an excitement about piano and learning music, making it fun in the process. We highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Prodigy Piano. Amy is great with all levels and abilities. Her patient and calm demeanor combined with her clear love of piano and amazing ability can't help but excite the kids. Amy started teaching my daughter almost a year ago. Since then my daughter, 8, has developed a major LOVE of piano, due mostly to Amy's teaching style.

We offer a free trial lesson, no strings attached. Your child will learn 4-6 songs and have a lot of fun!

We love working with children! We welcome any child age 5-13 to come in for a trial lesson so you can find out if our studio is the right fit.
