Working with Sherman was a great experience. His pricing was a good value compared to other estimates. He is very friendly, explains options well, and is responsive to emails and calls. The quality of work appears very well done. I would call him first for my next roofing project and would recommend to anyone looking for a contractor.Sep 18, 2018Verified
Keller Construction just completed replacing our roof. Sherman and his crew were professional, polite, considerate and did an outstanding job. Sherman was especially attentive and available for all our questions throughout the quote and project process. All this exceptional service, quality materials and workmanship for a very reasonable price. Great job, guys! Thanks!Apr 18, 2017Verified
Oh my goodness, Sherman was fantastic. He worked so fast and so well that the project was literally done before I knew it. And I mean "literally" literally - just today I emailed to check on progress and it turns out it was finished two weeks ago! Incredible! Turns out my phone was acting up so his text hadn't come through... Plus the price was great and he's just great to work with - totally effortless. It was like hiring Houdini!Feb 11, 2017Verified
I am really happy with the standing seam roof Keller Construction added to my portico overhang. They also figured out a discreet way to run wiring for my new light and hung the light for me.Nov 17, 2016Verified
Had an awesome experience with Sherman Keller and his guys!!! They removed and replaced the very old plywood on the house, then re-shingled the house, garage and sunroom, then replaced the old shutters. And they did it all in 3 days!!!! He gave us a VERY fair price for the job. We are very pleased!!! I would highly recommend Sherman Keller for your roofing needs!!! I would hire him again!!Oct 22, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My ways of pricing vary from job to job but at times on something smaller and more or less simple, I use a standard method of pricing the materials out individually and just adding a daily rate that my men will be on the job. Alot of contractors use a "per square" pricing system, but I've noticed in the 15 years of this industry that that price tends to come out to be very high. I'm a firm believer in a honest days pay for an honest days work, not out to get rich in a day or off one job, just to have my business name out there and generating continuous work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to gain my information needed about the work to be done, and establish whether or not I feel qualified and comfortable to do the job at hand. When I know that the scope of the work is able to be done by my company I contact the homeowner /customer and schedual an appointment for an estimate, which is free. At that time I try and get on a personal level with my homeowner/customer and try and make them feel comfortable and reassured by going into depth about their issue at hand and go over various ways of accomplishing the problem the best, most efficient, and financially responsible way to complete it. I then take my information I have recorded and write up a formal estimate/proposal and then submit it to my homeowner/customer and go over every step of what is to be done very thoroughly untill there is no questions lingering in their mind, so hopefully after I leave that document with them they can think it over and choose me to do their work confidently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been doing roofing and siding as well as all phases of exterior home remodeling for just about 15 years, I have taken courses offered by manufacturers of the products I use on a daily basis and have taken and passed their installation tests. I am a certified master elite shingle applicator with 2 of the major manufacturers as well as Firestone certified for flat roofing Epdm materials.
