FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin our process by getting to know the business/organization/individual better in order to better serve the client. We hear what services they offer, how they started, what makes their product/service unique, and what vision and values they carry as an organization. We believe that everything about a business or organization provides a uniqueness that should be incorporated in their online presence. From there we here the specifics of what they need their website to accomplish. Some need simply a nice landing page to make their business look good. Many others need their website to accomplish a specific function like showcasing and selling products, collecting client information, or generating interest in a particular topic. Whatever it is, we see this process being just as important. From there we make suggestions as to the layout and function of the website. After agreeing on the general game plan, we get to work, providing the client with updates along the way to ensure we're all on the same page. We'll do some final checkups to make sure everything functions right and send it the client's way for final approval before going live. We take deadlines super seriously, so we'll make sure it gets back to you in time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We work to ensure we have the right people in the right seats. So our website developers have both education and experience to back up their work. They've taken courses ranging from Javascript to the Psychology of Design to know what works and what doesn't. Our social media, photography, SEO, and videography guys are the same way. We have them there because they've been trained and educated to do what they do well.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our business started with a group of friends that were already interested in web design getting together to provide services locally in their small town in Texas. This quickly gathered momentum, and they started getting business more than they could handle doing it just on the side. After balancing doing web development outside of their full-time jobs, eventually they went full-time with it and branched into new services and more advanced websites. Though we still do the simple, elegant Squarespace websites, we've expanded into more advanced products that can do just about any function. However, after all of the transition and growth, we still love what we do; meeting businesses, hearing their vision, and geeking out about making cool websites. We love what we do.
