- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I offer three packages: 1) consultation, 2) partial facilitation, 3) full facilitation. Each package is offered at a different hourly rate and an estimate of hours needed can be provided. Every quote depending on the job usually includes information about pricing. However, discounts are offered to new clients. And if a client can’t afford it I am always open to honest negotiation because I genuinely want to help and if at that moment I can take a smaller fee to do that I will!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Get an idea of what their goal is. Have a goal setting meeting/conversation. Create a schedule or timeline for our work. Readjust that schedule as needed once the document has been assessed and the writers needs understood. This is because many writers don’t realize often what they need they just know it doesn’t feel right to them yet. Once this schedule is underway keep in contact with the writer so they gain transferable skills from the experience that could aid them in the future.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I’m a Rhetorician. This means I teach and practice the faculty and skill of identifying the available means of persuasion in any given situation. I have 2 degrees in writing, rhetoric, and discourse. My passions are rhetoric, advocacy, law, and many more. These interests have helped me be a useful tool to the communities I have served as professor, peer tutor, and consultant. I have dedicated over 3000+ hours over the course of 4 years to this work. It’s some of the most rewarding things I have been privileged to do.
