- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing Varies and depends on the type of services you need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We go through a simple 5 step process to make the transactions smooth. (1.) We start by discussing the details of your event and what you already have in mind for your style and design of your stationery as well as your budget. We can discuss via email or schedule a detailed call to go over specific details regarding your wedding. (2.) Once we have determined a style, and discuss arrangements, I will create a comprehensive information and price proposal with sample digital design elements within 3 business days. You will make a deposit securely online and the project begins! (3.) I will then create a detailed designed digital designed mock-up presentation that illustrates and incorporates a few main elements of your day and describe ways we can incorporate designs into printed stationery. We will have a online meeting to discuss what you love and do not love from the designs. (4.) I will completely design full concepts for the printed wedding stationery and will send them to you over the course of 2-6 weeks. The set date for delivery of these digital proofs will be determined after our virtual meeting. This is the opportunity to review the proof and provide two full rounds of revisions. (5.) We are ready for print! No stationery projects will be sent to print or production until you have given approval and payment has been received. Upon approval and final payment your designs will go to print. Standard printing time for flat printing can take up to 7 business days. Full assembly takes an average of 2 weeks. Delivery of assembled product to you is within 3-5 business days of shipment and may arrive in 1-3 orders. Rush orders and delivery are options to inquire within. Lastly, you can expect for me to communicate consistently, answer any questions you have related to your event and update you on all progress, and be transparent when it comes to budget and pricing. Most designs are digitally created and designed to keep pricing affordable, and printed on high quality paper. Official hand-lettered calligraphy for invitations and envelopes are available for additional pricing. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught when it comes to wedding and event stationery. I've always had a passion for paper, cards, hand art, digital art designs, decorations and calligraphy font. It's beautiful intricate work, involves your hands, time, and attention to detail, which I absolutely love. I'm always a student in the business, I respect and admire the longtime designers, planners, and look to learn from the best while incorporating much of my own passion, and eye for detail and art from places I've been, or never been, magazines and books I read and cut out into tiny little pieces of scrap paper, or long hours in a paper craft and fabric store. Some official achievements that played a huge part in my journey to the world of Event Planning and Stationery included my is degree obtained from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute of Arts Certification in Hospitality Management Cuyahoga Community College 16+ years of combined work experience in Culinary, Event Planning, and Sales for Corporate Hotel and Casino
