- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I want to make sure that my customer feels comfortable. Makeup has the power to transform your entire look. I can do a practice trial before the event to make sure you are satisfied with the result. From there, I will do your makeup on the day of your event and I will make sure you are in love with it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self taught as of now, but I still believe I provide quality work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was about two years ago, and the only makeup I owned was dollar store foundation, an old mascara, and bronzer that my grandma gave me from a lady she used to clean house for. It was right around the time when highlight and contour were becoming more popular. I went through pictures and videos of tutorials on Instagram, and I fell in love. These people were changing their entire looks with makeup! How fun! I viewed it as art, not as a way to cover your natural self up. Ever since then I've been practicing and practicing, finally ending up where I am today. It took a lot of money and time, but I am so happy that I can express myself through makeup now. I am also ecstatic that I can service others through something I love.
